Summary:



Studies have shown that with the correct treatment the care of patients
with hip fractures can be improved. Correct treatment can start in the
ambulance and continue with good nursing care; by providing sufficient
nutrition and minimizing the use of drugs; and through the prevention,
early detection and treatment of postoperative complications such as
decubital ulcers and delirium.
