Titel: Mätmetoder i forskning och vardag [summary] (serie: Tema osteoporos) 2006 nr 40 sid 2988-9
|
Summary:
In clinical routine DEXA (Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) is well established. Broadband ultrasound and quantitative CT are alternative established methods. Peripheral DEXA and radiogrammetry may facilitate osteoporosis diagnostics in the future also at centres without access to whole body DEXA, eg small hospitals and at general practitioners'. In research projects, high resolution CT and MRI can be used to visualize the trabecular bone structure in vivo.
